I reaggravated an old hamstring injury stretching on the 3rd day of Muscle Mami so I took a couple days off, and now I feel a cold coming on so I’m opting for gentle movement instead. This is definitely challenging my desire for perfectionism and doing it “right” when it comes to movement, so maybe is ultimately a blessing in disguise!

Choosing to honor where I’m at and not push through is not something I would’ve always done. Excited to jump back in when I can, and for now, tapping in for grounded weights 🩵

I got myself a membership as a birthday gift late December and as a way to get back into my body postpartum. It has been so challenging to start but I got to try a class last week thst really showed me how tight my body is! I officially started Day 1 of the Muscle Mami program today - I thought better late than never! 2 months and two days postpartum. I’m excited to see how I feel in the next coming weeks.

Enjoyed the rest day yesterday! Got some sunshine where I live and it’s very rare so I tried to make the most of it. It’s been a long uphill health journey since my big surgery back in July and Ruth has helped me be so kind to myself as I heal and deal with the changes in my body.

For any of you that have medical issues just remember to be kind to yourself. ♥️ I’m a few days behind on the new challenge and that’s okay!

Tapped in for Muscle Mami challenge days 5 & 7 today - we are on a family vacation so I doubled up knowing we’d be very busy the next couple of days.

My husband joined me in the hotel gym so I wanted to share 🥰🥰🥰 him joining my workouts / supporting my journey is a huge love language for me. I feel grateful to have moved our bodies together. I know that 20-30 mins we spent is gonna have us feeling our best for a big day of plans tomorrow - thank you Ruth for the quick yet fulfilling & fun workouts!
