my neck is hurting today… definitely has NOTHING to do with the Y2K dance session i did yesterday 🫣i may have went a bit too hard in the paint... but it was worth it (i hope this doesn’t last more than a day)

so today i will be slowing things down with: cozy core and hip bath!

Day 13 ✅ below + power abs. Some reflections from halfway thru this journey:

• Remarkable increase in neck and wrist strength!

• Hard things on and off the mat (daily life) are being done with more ease, showing up daily feels routine (yay) but also still a conscious choice

• Making that choice every day helps me remember that I can also choose how I show up in other aspects of my life, higher sense of agency and control over myself rather than feeling helpless

• Endorphins are helping my mood / mental health stay level

• Noticing a level of consistency in self care across all avenues in my life that I honestly haven’t had in years. I am still rewiring my brain and habits after leaving my SF tech career 5 months ago, recovering from years of compound burnout. I’m amazed at how much positive change can happen in just 2 weeks 💕

good morning earthlings! 🔅

i had the oddest dream last night… i was in a grocery store listening to this shy little boy sing. the more he put himself down, the more i encouraged him, until he began singing loudly…in the haircare aisle, while i danced.

i wasn’t too sure what to make of it, but the more i thought about it, the more meaning i derived from the dream.

i realized that today i want to be the me in that dream! dancing and encouraging myself and those around me. for most of my life, ive been the shy little boy, but RPS has helped me feel like i can be an encouraging and fearless person who appreciates the beauty in everything and everyone.

i hope you all have someone or are that someone who encourages yourself and those around you even when things feel dark and bleak. at times, we are our own beacon of light, and though it feels lonely, the brightness of our own light can help others find their light and vice versa! im kinda rambling at this point… but i hope someone finds it helpful!

today’s agenda: full body release & y2k baddie beats. (im so proud of me for choosing a variety of videos this week! i am a creature of habit and routine so this is super new and scary for me 🥲)

Day 12 ✅ this one had a healthy dose of torture but was very fun and a great sense of accomplishment by the end! Abs were ON lol.

I challenged myself to start waking up earlier and getting my workout in at the start of my day (I can do this during follicular, very hard during luteal), having that personal time sets me up so much better for the day esp before I start teaching. A couple pics from a very lovely morning.

good morning beautiful humans ✨

ive been feeling a bit disassociated lately, like ive been going through the motions of life on autopilot. so, my focus word for today is presence!

this morning im going to do tune in (been eyeballing this one for a bit) and then later i will be doing adaptable glutes! it took all of me not to plan to do yin yang hips again bc i love it so much 😭

overall, ive fallen in love with lower body workouts since joining RPS. it feels like im working all the tiny little fibers in my hips 🤓 also im almost at my 30 day streak! 🥹

Tapping in for Day 11 ✅ abs + booty along with the below, which was so nice for opening my thoracic spine, can literally breathe better lol. We had an iconic sunset purple theme tonight (romanticized my workout in the living room inspired by luna elise ☺️), winter sunsets are so good it almost makes the cold worth it 🥶.
