I am in a terrible cycle of pushing myself too hard and then injuring myself or getting sick and am trying now to get back into the swing of things with something every day that actually makes me feel good and doesn't involve kneeling (thank goodness for the no kneeling list). Today it was Sensual Play Beats, and I definitely feel better for having done it

Day 9 ✅ rough day, but so glad I showed up because this turned out to be one of the best parts of my day. Def recommend this video ⬇️

Upped my dumbbell weight choice since doing this a couple weeks ago and loved it! Yay for progressive overload and getting stronger 💪🏽

Also, didnt know I needed the lower body stretches so much 🥲 last time, they felt good, but today were a huge emotional release as well 🙂‍↕️🫶🏽

Now, time for a yogurt bowl 😋

today felt like a yucky day for me. not only did i barely drink any water and eat a ton of overly salty and sweet foods that make me feel gross. but i also ended up calling out today and was told that those at work are struggling and i couldnt help but feel horrible.

i only managed to do one video today: hamstring heaven. it was great and made my hammies feel scrumptious. i usually do more than one video a day out of sheer desire for movement, but today i had to force myself to get on the mat, and i feel sad about feeling that resistance.

i hope everyone had a beautiful day. one day at a time, we got this 🧸

Yesterday i managed to complete planksgiving + kaytranda beats so this truly felt good on a sore body after that. Especially the upper body stretching.

Also it was the first time pressing play yesterday after saying goodbye to my dog on Monday 😔

On top of that the house I rent has been a construction zone while the bathrooms here get redone so it’s been less then easy trying to adjust to this new life right now.

I’m just trying to stay grateful and pointed to the sunshine around here. I’m grateful although it’s tough it’s a holiday it’s also allowed me guiltless time off to grieve because of that.

As sad as I was to lose my streak after 32 days I really had wanted to push forward to 60. I’m just grateful I set that foundation for myself because I really need this movement medicine in this life and I’m still craving it and have the momentum to get back to my streak moving forward to 60 next.

Allowing myself time off and knowing I will come back is a new sense of trust with me I’m working on now.

Movement is just looking like more relaxed level and maybe even more from bed I tried that over last weekend and it helped. That is so okay with me. Still feels good either way.

Anyway I’m seeing some of you post and comment on your new challenge and I love to see it is helping keep me in my groove even if I’m pushing play on something slower for myself I know that will get me back there so keep that up 👏🏼

Some past posts about some of you pushing play through even tougher times ring in my head too. You all are a very inspiring community to be apart of pushing through so many hard things.

I’m a day late saying this but so grateful for RPS this past year has helped heal me in more ways than one ❤️‍🩹

Haven’t had the most words recently to tap in on comments but just here to say I have so much love to you all 🫶🏼

Day 7 ✅ “planksgiving” the day after thanksgiving was very difficult to execute with my distended center of gravity 😂 my best today was maybe 50% effort but we got it done, and I still enjoyed it.

We also had I think the first “Relax” video of the challenge as well and man did I need that. 💚
