last month, i decided to torture myself and pick up a double shift at work today (6am-10:30pm). meaning, i had to do my morning movement before work 😭 so, short on time i chose: hip opener and center folding.

center-folding was a super tough one to complete within 15 minutes of waking up. i’m trying not to beat myself up about my form and the lack of sensation/burning in my core during it, but part of me feels like i “wasted” my time and harmed myself by completing it. i feel bad because i had to modify most of it.

despite it all, today i am going to try to show myself patience and kindness. though these feelings suck, it’s showing me that my body wants a different way to move during times like these.

my solution: maybe i can stick to beat-based/flowy type workouts during my mensies instead of classical pilates styled workouts.

Day 6 ✅ tapping in from the bi-annual family reunion lol! We are in Carmel for 3 days. So nice to be on a little vacation and take this challenge with me, including my magic circle and 8 lb weights 😂

Today almost took me outtttt 😮‍💨

If you ever need a cardio & muscle boost, would recommend day 6 of the challenge. This + stretchiit.

happy turkey day to those who celebrate! 🧡

this year is the first year where i decided to spend this day alone… which is perfect, since i just started my period this morning. the last thing i want to do is be around a lot of people.

anyways, for today’s movement i wanted something that felt fuzzy and snug so i chose: kaytranda beats and cozy climb! 🌙 i did kaytranda beats earlier this week and loved it sm so im doing it again! so, thank you ruth! i am grateful for you 🧸

also, i am grateful to be able to share within this community that’s full of bad b’s and those who choose to be whoever they want to be. i hope everyone has a beautiful day, one full of laughter and warmth ✨

Day 5 ✅ this + swakate arms

I usually stop half way to check how long is left lol. And then decide I can do anything for 20-30 minutes, right? 😅

My personal goal is completion rather than perfection, however I get there.

Day 4 ✅ this was hard !! Long lil update

Me: oooh looking forward to strength training today, so glad to see this challenge has 2 days per week built in since I’ve been slacking lately, and they’re light shouldn’t be too bad

Me at 17 mins: Ruth Brenza I have to confess I did indeed curse you out in my head while telling myself the only way out was through, and I made it through amen

Ovulating and felt cute so I did wear my RPS tube top. And rolled up PE shorts made me feel like ~that girl~ in middle school who walked the mile eating Cheetos rather than running it IYKYK 💅

Lastly, daily challenging movement really is for my mental health during this time of year and it’s WORKING. Had been having trouble waking and feeling like I could sleep all day, but this completely turns things around and I’m so grateful! Habits > motivation. Letting things suck til they don’t. Knowing it WILL get better!! #blessings I really am on one now lol thank u and hope everyone has a great day!
