hi bad 🐝’s!

im looking to compile videos that include active stretching and am wondering if anyone has any recommendations/favorites! 🤓

my favorite so far is deep stretch. my legs tremble for the rest of the day after i do this one. it is very safisfying. im still working on helping my nervous system feel safe while doing it tho.

tapping in before doing neck relief! ive been doing it once a day, for about five days, to help with neck tension. im unsure when my neck muscles will relax… they still feel like theyre locked in place 😭

i really wanted to do muscle mami but i feel like theres so much tension in my body rn, so i decided to do the thaw series. im on day four right now and have been feeling a lot of things. while i am proud that im trusting my intuition, i am feeling some intense fomo. despite it all, im still choosing to sit this one out for now.

anyways, im really proud of the bad 🐝’s doing the muscle mami challenge! i know y’all are having a blast! 🔅

good afternoon bad b's!

i lost my streak four days ago and am experiencing guilt regarding that. for some reason i feel so much shame in admitting this and for restarting my routine. perfectionism is a disease i swear.

this new year has been dragging me by my ponytail. ive been dealing with a lot of moving/new year/relationship stressors and in that ive completely let go of everything that helped me feel good. i stopped moving, eating well, and drinking water. i legit feel like the mucinex monster. 

anyways, because of the new challenge coming (yay!), i am going to focus on relaxing videos that help me feel present and cozy. so, today i am making a promise to myself to do shoulder melt and neck relief!

i hope you guys are staying safe out in the world and taking care of you <3

tapping in + a question for the bad b’s! 🐝

i did some pelvic floor love and floorwork today!

it felt nice to move my body, but i have this lingering thought that imperfections in my movements equal wasted effort which means im not getting stronger.

following new video’s everyday feels fun, but sticking to certain videos allow me to “perfect” moves and measure my progress. i know perfection isnt real but, there is safety in knowing whats coming next (which ik can keep me in a bind) and being able to connect more with each movement. versus, when i do new moves im confused and clumsy and i feel like im not engaging the right muscles, which signals to me that im wasting my time and harming my body.

does anyone have any ideas on how to balance the two? or any advice? id love to hear!

today i asked myself: what would bring me joy? and one of the first things that popped into my head was RPS.

so, this morning i did camel flow, in an attempt to ease some neck and back stiffness that comes from writing a ton of papers for finals week. .

also during this down time ive been reading a ton about intutive eating/living/movement content and stumbled upon a great book called “letting go of leo”. it’s a light read, i started it last night and am about 50% through it. i recommend it for those who struggle with perfectionism and with listening to their body. i would say it has some tough topics like food issues and body image issues, so if youre not in a place to read about things like that, i’d skip it for now!

anyways, i miss reading everyone’s posts - i truly hope everyone is doing well and finding pockets of joy and laughter.
