I'm a little late to this one. I've hated donkey kicks for as long as I can remember. Doing them with the weights made me feel super strong.

This was super challenging. I wanted to give up a few times but managed to modify and make it through. Great reminder to give myself grace.

Thank you for opening up about your experiences. This stuff can be so mentally draining. TBH, I'm JUST starting to realize why i didn't enjoy sex as much, a lot of it being poor core strength and hips (amongst shitty partners that don't care). So, I'm right there with ya, slowly rebuilding. Some people just come into our lives to be caught and released. Sounds like there was a win in there for you- your willingness to be curious about your needs :) Thanks for sharing! I'm here if you want to keep chatting 💓

We all start somewhere. Sometimes, multiple times throughout our lives. Remember to honor where you’re at, don’t push. Part of movement is honoring our body, it’s an important part of self love and care.

While cheesy, as I’ve gotten older, it’s true. For female/ femmes in particular, it’s literally a part of taking up space in a world that constantly expects us to prioritize others.
