Update: 3 months post successful hoe phase

A few months back, I requested the best classes to assist with improvement in riding. First of all, thank you ladies for the suggestions. I listened and took all of the classes. They were incredibly helpful.

All jokes aside, I was having a ton of issues surrounding sex and being present in my body after a traumatic break up in 2024/ 6 year relationship. I spent most of that year putting myself back together. 2025 was where I focused on the healing work. Needless to say, I was finally able to enjoy intimacy again WITH added benefits thanks to Sensualaties and Ruth.

While I initially thought of this as just a "hoe phase," it was really the beginning of enjoying sex, letting myself feel safe, confident and learning about myself. 🥹

The situation with the man was catastrophic (no shock there) but I'll take the win regardless.

Happy New Year everyone 🌹

Hi!

So, I know Sensualities in general is good for hip movement and stretching.

What are your personal favorite classes that help with riding?!

Thanks in advance,

A girl who is ready for her next hoe phase

Hi everyone!

So, this is a bit of a vulnerable post for me as it feels silly so ask.

I recently had to stop doing Orangetheory because of lower back and sciatic nerve flare ups. I was in PT for 6 months last year. While I fully recovered, the flare ups kept happening because of the hard workouts and sitting so much for work (I’m a therapist). I finally had to call it.

Prior to that, I lifted pretty heavy or have been in HIIT classes on and off for years. My 38 years old knees are also saying, “Nah, girl.” 😵

While I’ve been a member of RPS for 2 years, I can honestly say this is the first time this is the only exercise I’m doing. With that being said, my brain keeps telling me I’m not doing enough. Since I’m not dripping in sweat or out of breath, it feels like it’s not doing enough. Needless to say, the inner dialogue gets pretty mean.

I wanted to ask if you pair RPS with anything else? Do you stack classes? How have you made this work FOR YOU?

I’d appreciate any feedback, encouragement, or feeling less alone in this. I feel so lost as I’m used to structure. ☹️

Thanks! 🪷

Jennifer

Hi Ruth!

I wanted to ask about how what Apple Watch settings your classes would best fall under?

I realize this is likely subjective but my brain won’t stop bothering me about it. I’ve been using the Pilates caterogy but that doesn’t feel like it accounts for slow paced classes, beat based, etc.

I appreciate any feedback!

Hi Ruth!

I just started using my laptop to access classes. Where do we find our playlists?

Question about the Pilates ball:

How can I inflate it with the straw and not have it deflate when I’m putting in the stopper? It never stays full!

Ruth! Is there a section that can be created where we can see what classes we’ve taken? I use my favorites as a place to store classes I want to take/ liked.

Also, how can the playlist be used?

This is my first workout post sciatic nerve/ lower back flare up. This class reminded me that my body can be strong in soft movement. Much meeded after feeling I would never get back here last week ❣️
