First day down!!! I used 10lbs weights but definitely felt I probably could’ve upped them at first and then by the end of my fourth round I was reaching failure in my legs. Arms felt okay and I was able to do a fifth round of upper body during the 12min but I tried to do one sumo squat with 30sec on the clock and body said that’s enough for tonight lol. Overall I felt really good about today’s classes and will definitely look at maybe adding some wrist weights with the arms to go up to 12 lbs ☺️☺️ look at all these bad bs crushing muscle mami 💪🏽💪🏽💪🏽

Girl I’m a Virgo perfectionism is my middle name lmao. I get so hard on myself and then I try to remember if I were talking to my bestie what would I say. Then I literally talk to myself in the mirror the same way I would talk to my bestie. I remind myself of how far I’ve come. If I did it once I can do it again. Just like you boo 🥰🤗

I completely understand where you’re coming from Luna. I actually went through the same exact thing myself last month and I lost my streak, not once (which was up to 60 days which I was really looking forward to getting my next badge) but twice when I made it into a week and again, just kind of let myself go. Mental health plays such a large part on how we deal with our day-to-day lives and sometimes we just need those days to kind of reconnect with ourselves and it’s OK to be mopey in those days. Give yourself grace and be proud of yourself that you were able to recognize it and get back on your mat. Perfectionism can be a curse but it’s also dependent on how you view it. Remember your perfect just the way you are faults and all.

So I realized I’m coming up on one year since I joined RPS and I never really noticed the changes in my body. I felt them, but I didn’t notice them because it’s not like they were ever really pointed out to me, but I continued my practice. I continued my movement and I decided to look for a picture from a year ago. Even though the changes are small, it’s amazing to actually be able to see them and continue with my movement. This has been the first program that I’ve actually been able to stick with, and I am so excited to see what the new year brings. Happy New Year everyone 🤗🤗🤗

So catching up with the week and did this class today and let me tell you I didn’t not thing I’d be able to roll over my toes and get into that squat and then all the sudden it just happened. I trusted my body and it DID NOT DISAPPOINT!!! It wasn’t pretty and definitely lost my balance a couple times but I just kept at it and said it was uniquely me. I am so happy and pumped and beyond excited and so happy to be taking this energy into the new year. Much love as always Ruth and thank you for building this confidence. I can’t wait to see what next year brings 🥰🥰🥰
