Day 22 ✅ I spilled my coffee on myself at the start. Messy sweat sesh in all the ways, knew I wasn’t ready for AAA Shake but alas the challenge called. When I feel this way, I ask myself to do just 1 rep for each move. Often that is manageable and I end up doing more. Had to be very intentional and controlled w my range due to period tummy feeling a little nauseous at times. And lots of child’s poses when needed. Happy after as usual with RPS!

Have a nice Saturday, everyone 💗

Day 21 ✅ day 2 of my period, feeling generally good but lethargic by end of day, and rest felt super good, so I did not have much motivation this evening. I asked my husband for some encouragement to get me off the couch, and he started tickling me 😂 which had me jump up. Solid strategy.

If you ever feel like going crazy with your movement sesh, I recommend “abs + booty | shake” lol. Super fun start, but the intensity halfway & beyond was a lot for me today. I shouldn’t have chugged a bunch of water beforehand because it wanted to come up later haha, BUUUT wow, I really am capable of so much more than I thought! I told myself to not worry what it looked like, just try, and I ended up slaying.

Which was a big win bc I historically have really bad periods that leave me debilitated on day 1 & 2. My lifestyle is the same as usual save for the last 21 days of daily movement at a bit higher intensity / challenge than usual. I feel that my spine, bones, lungs, muscles, everything is functioning so well that my body is able to handle my cycle with more ease. And it feels like the daily drip of endorphins keeps my brain hydrated for mental health, so my moods were stable (unheard of) throughout this menstrual phase.

Turns out I have a lot to say haha, last thing, I would highly recommend Ruth’s Mermaid videos 🧜‍♀️ after 2 this week, I am getting addicted to my spine/ribs feeling so juicy and buttery. 🫟 🧈

Have a great evening ya’ll!! 🖤

Wow! Another wonderful Mermaid class, my spine and ribs feel juicy and buttery in the best way after your Mermaid classes. Your passion for this exercise shines through so much, I can tell how much you’ve felt this move in your bones and made it your own, such a pleasure to experience it! And, baby Ruth !! 🥹😍 been fun going back in time with this challenge 🤗

Day 20 ✅ “booty burn | shake” + “back stretch” below.

This was a very interesting combination of videos. The booty burn was only 10 mins but I was dripping sweat by the end! I really pushed myself with progressions, I wanted to work hard, it felt cathartic. Stark contrast to winding down for the back stretch, which was slow, deep, & juicy.

It reminded me that even when life gets really intense like the short video, there is a way to unwind & balance it. I often have no idea what that way is, because I default to “freeze” during stress. But I do know that moving my body helps me figure it out, literally just putting one foot in front of the other.

Hope everyone had a great day 💗

Hi Jordan!! All of this is so exciting, kudos to following your dream and it’s inspiring to see your foresight around family planning.

I have not been pregnant but wanted to share that in my Pilates teacher training program, one of my colleagues got pregnant 3 months in. The program was super intensive, took over a year and she was working full time as a physical therapist as well. So, a lot on her plate. Nevertheless, she chose to finish the program making modifications as she needed. Only you can know what’s best for you, but just sharing as I admired her tenacity, and these stories inspire me to not be afraid of my ambition when motherhood rolls around for me (it’s something I think about a lot 😅). Also, being pregnant gave her a greater understanding of the human body through lived experience, which was really cool considering that’s what we were studying. Perhaps will be the same for you, diving deeper into herbalism with a greater perspective and understanding for how it relates to motherhood - you can study yourself along the way too!

I’m sure all of this will take some planning, structure around routines, and adapting to the unknown. But based on what you shared, you seem skilled at all of that! 💗💗

Let us know what you choose, and if anything else comes to mind that you’d like a sounding board for 💗💗

🥰 thank you queen !!!
