Hey Victoria! Welcome! I think you’ll find lots of inspo here for sure. You will certainly get stronger. My classes can help you get leaner/losing weight but movement is only one small piece of the picture for that, diet and lifestyle factors play a larger role. I always like to mention that. But check out Jasmine’s post from yesterday under “share your wins” she lost 20lbs and gained so much confidence too. Your goals are definitely achievable here. I love using weights but I definitely lean toward gentle, nervous system friendly, somatic movement. You can absolutely start with the weekly schedule. It’s a great way to hop in with the community since many members follow it too. You may also want to start with a program like Hard + Soft which gives you a bit of an intro to 3 class styles. The Thaw Experiment is also a gentle way to step in. No right or wrong way to do it. Cheering you on over here! 🥳
