I haven't been doing nearly as much movement as my body wants. Tbh, barely any! Between the hot days, wildfire smoke, rain, and overtime at work...I just haven't been moving. I've gotten some walks in, but the smoke has really been causing me lots of irritation. Today I did my first yoga/movement session in a couple weeks, and I am proud of myself. I plan on using this as momentum to get a class or movement in every day this week. 😁

Finally back from an adventurous 2 week road trip honeymoon! Went to Sedona, Zion National Park, Little Cottonwood Canyon, Yellowstone National Park, and Glacier National Park. I’ve hiked most days of our travels and I can’t believe I got to see so many different parts of the US. Glad to be home and start back on my Pilates movement practice.

For some reason I have a hard time celebrating myself and downplaying achievements, but this month I completed my first triathlon. It was SO much fun, and an all women’s event that was super encouraging for all levels and abilities. I think it was a couple months ago at RPS book club that I had just bought my first pair of goggles and started the training journey. Thanks Ruth for the encouragement and the outlet!

I’ve had so many wins since starting RPS the major one being how much my confidence has increased since starting, being able to see my consistency improving and seeing and feeling the changes in my body. Since starting RPS I have been more motivated to take control of my eating habits and improve my relationship with food. My clothes fit so much better and I feel good wearing them including things I wouldn’t normally wear. I’ve embraced the crop top life and learned not to care what other people think. Icing on top was finally jumping on the scale and realizing I’ve lost almost 20lbs and not feeling the pain I used to feel every day. I’m so grateful to Ruth and this community. Can’t wait to see what next month looks like ☺️☺️

Meh this luteal phase has been brutal so but I've been meaning to share this for a little bit now..

I DID MY VERY FIRST PROPER ROLL UP, oof I was so excited. Going back to the basics showed me teuly how far I've come in the 1.5 years I've been doing this... semi consistently😂
