Hi everyone!

So, this is a bit of a vulnerable post for me as it feels silly so ask.

I recently had to stop doing Orangetheory because of lower back and sciatic nerve flare ups. I was in PT for 6 months last year. While I fully recovered, the flare ups kept happening because of the hard workouts and sitting so much for work (I’m a therapist). I finally had to call it.

Prior to that, I lifted pretty heavy or have been in HIIT classes on and off for years. My 38 years old knees are also saying, “Nah, girl.” 😵

While I’ve been a member of RPS for 2 years, I can honestly say this is the first time this is the only exercise I’m doing. With that being said, my brain keeps telling me I’m not doing enough. Since I’m not dripping in sweat or out of breath, it feels like it’s not doing enough. Needless to say, the inner dialogue gets pretty mean.

I wanted to ask if you pair RPS with anything else? Do you stack classes? How have you made this work FOR YOU?

I’d appreciate any feedback, encouragement, or feeling less alone in this. I feel so lost as I’m used to structure. ☹️

That meditative hip opener was amazzzziiiingggg! On that note, I felt like it really opened my inner thighs, any recs for stretching outer hips? Like I loveeee a good pigeon pose, something that hits that same outside area.

Hey everyone! My body has been feeling very heavy/weighed down lately. Any suggestions on what to do about that? I hadn't been moving for a few weeks, but I got back into it this week. It's been difficult due to feeling so weighed down. Anyone have a favorite class for that? Thanks xx

So I have a question.

I’m currently training for my first half marathon. I’m not a runner so I’m really proud of myself for working my way up to 6 miles so far but my legs and feet feel like they need some extra love. Any other runners out there that find certain RPS videos extra helpful for post-run recovery?

I found this class while looking through the wall work outs. I thought this was really good for triathlon training and stretching. The wall push ups and swinging the arm around reminded me of a swimming stroke, and there is plenty of leg strengthening and stretching too beneficial to running and cycling. Any other classes that suit running or triathlon training/ warm up? There are many in the ankle/foot care for running but I was also looking for another wall class I thought I had done before with jogging at the wall.

I'm so in my head lately. I've been hanging out in the lower back folder because I've developed lower back pain. I started a gardening job over the summer to move my body more after years of desk work, and also while I have some months to prepare for my PhD exam, but now everything has turned sour. I was being bullied by the gardening "boss" - a female with masc energy (& she seemed to prefer male workers to female workers, and picked on specific women) and now I've put in a letter of complaint and feel like I have to quit the job now, so now I will be unemployed, but to keep my sanity and stress levels low I think this is the right decision. I'm finding it hard to trust myself and my decision, and even the fact I've called her a bully - also questioning this too, even though I know she is! What classes are going to help me trust myself and calm my anxiety, and not hurt my back! Any tips?

Hey community! Will have a long haul flight and was looking for tips on best stretch class after the flight? Something one can do easily at the hotel and that gives you good stretch and relief to those tight muscles after uncomfortable 10hr sitting ? Thank you all 🙏
