This class is reminding me how much I love classical Pilates 💜 i haven’t done much classical work recently and I’m excited to get back to it in this challenge. My body is already loving getting back into my movement practice, this challenge really couldn’t have come at a better time 🦋

Ruth Brenza would you by any chance be able to share the calendar from the last time we did the challenge? (I apologize if it’s in the app somewhere and I missed it 😅) I was thinking about printing it out and checking the days off as I go with my multitude of unused stickers that are lying around my house 🙈 (for both motivation and Pilates room decor lol)

FYI - there’s a bunch of Pilates items at Aldi this week if anyone’s interested! My Aldi had weighted rings, wrist weights, blocks, mats, etc! All super cute and relatively cheap. I bought the blocks and rings last time they were at Aldi (thanks to someone else in the community sharing 💜) and have loved them - bala style at a fraction of the cost for those of us on a budget 😅

This is my all time favorite program, I would totally be down. I’ve redone parts of it a couple times now, would love to do the full thing again ☺️

Wow love this image, I can totally relate 💜 working a desk job is so challenging, it was such a tough transition for me! I love my current job but I do wish it was more active. Some days I feel exactly as you describe where I’m just too exhausted to do anything. I find the days I exercise in the morning to be my best, but I’m not always disciplined enough to follow through 😅 someone said to me once that you can’t prioritize everything, and although that feels so obvious it has really helped me in times where work is busy - I’m not giving up on movement, or failing to show up, but I’m prioritizing something else for a temporary period. That mindset shift has really helped me. I’ve definitely pressed play less this month than I’d like, but I’m showing up once or twice a week, sometimes tired and low energy but there, which is a win in itself. Funnily enough (or maybe not so funny 🫣) I’ve also been dealing with hair loss (that’s what my new medication is for). I’ve never considered myself concerned with my looks but it’s really thrown me for a loop. Sending support your way, you’ll come out of this period stronger than ever ☺️
