This is my first weights class with you. Woke up super sore today.

Felt good to be challenged and visit old territory. The abs almost killed me but I did my best

Thank you for sharing. Its actually really insightful and freeing to hear other's experiences.

I've had other complexities with food and exercise that are similar to yours in the sense of coping to mask other issues. Getting older has helped me sort most of those issues out but this is one that I'm still trying to work through. I'm actively trying to remind myself I can take care of my body without torturing it. There are other ways. 

I like the "gentle exercise of the mind" approach. 😘

Our needs will keep changing as we get older. The mindset also has to change in diff ways

First off, you didn't have to be so accurate about not being able to tune in with my own need sometimes. Its hard. Even now, my sciatic nerve is pulling on my Achilles tendon and I want to power through. Slowly learning to implement adjustments for myself.  

The hustle culture mind is fucking REAL. I'm learning to balance self-care (that isn't torture) and joy in between the million roles I fill. 

The unfold class challenged me in a totally new way. Happy to see what my body could do on its own.

This class was hard, both physically and mentally. I felt the frustration building up in my chest because I couldn’t keep up or was struggling. Finally just decided to pause the class and take it at my pace. It looked a little different but I made adjustments that worked for my body. A lot of breathing was required 😤😮‍💨

This is so helpful! I'm a visual person. Seeing I can take two days off and still have a 3 day streak makes this palpable and will likely pysh me to do more. Thank you!
