Ruth definitely “hit me hard” with this one! This one moves super duper fast. I used a combination of 5lb and 12lb handweights for the different moves. I did not do the final surprise 4th set as I was too exhausted to get up from my mat (it was late, I’d had a longggg day at a conference and I’d just gotten back from a 2 hour drive from San Diego.) But I did do a final set of arms on the mat and threw in a set of triceps for fun.

Probably not the best idea to do this class after eating chocolate lava cake…

Those leg curls were killing me and the final swimming at the end had me dead. Just because you’re lying on your tummy for most of this class doesn’t mean you won’t get a workout in!

Doing this class as part of Hard + Soft this time and it was just what I needed. Some nice cardio, lots of shaking and jiggling and a final cool off song to get me in my feels. One of my favorite go to office beat based classes too.

Didn’t get a chance to do this class for Hard + Soft yesterday on Halloween, but I did it this afternoon and I remembered how much I love the short simple circuit. I used 5lb handweights but could have gone heavier for some of the moves. The pace goes pretty fast and you’ll be done with three sets in the blink of an eye. Heart rate is way up!!

Did this right before bed and ooo baby the Ava are burning. Can never go wrong with series of 5 no matter how many times I do it.

My butt is still sore from the last couple classes so those leg lifts were a little rough, but overall this class felt good moving and stretching and getting into a flow state. That final tripod at the end, although tough on my upper body provided a really nice stretch for my legs.

I used 5 lb handweights for this, but the amount I was sweating you’d have thought they were 20 lbs. I just closed my eyes and let it flow during that final round. I really love these short efficient circuit workouts. Between yesterdays Hard + Soft class and today’s my booty is for sure gonna be sore.

My bunda is burning! 🔥🍑 I did some nice long figure four stretches after this class to try to ease the burn. I wanted to challenge myself to keep my hands behind my head this time, but it became to much about halfway through my second side. My right side (second side) felt twice as hard as my left did. I even started yelling at Ruth for counting to slow on the second side 😂
