Back to say one more comment - I love how at the end you had us tapping and doing a little somatic exercise to calm our nervous systems. These moves were intense even though they were slow, and I didn’t even realize my nervous system got a little worked up until I felt it calm down. Thank you for that! Knowing how to calm myself makes me feel capable of doing more intense things without worrying if it will make me feel dysregulated after. A really cool mindset shift. 100% agree with the ambient music as well, found it really helpful for me to stay dropped into my body as you mentioned at the start, quieted my mental chatter about how much I felt like I couldn’t do this and instead just DID it lol. Clearly I love this one so much I had to write 2 fan mail letters xoxo 💌

Wow! That was incredible. My body feels AMAZING after. My core around my spine is so ON right now, I can feel my muscles pulsing.

I am obsessed with the weighted hip stretches in the beginning. So gooey 🤤 I need more of that in my life!

But I genuinely felt like I couldn’t have done the 4 point hold split squats without you beside me doing them too 😂 I loved starting them midway thru then returning to them later, I felt stronger the 2nd time!

I might have to agree with Claire that this is my favorite class ever??? 💕🩷

I can relate to what you’re saying, Emma! Lovely job taking care of yourself 💕 especially since our muscles are doing a lot of hard work to repair as we get stronger. The challenge will be here once you are feeling better 🤗 get well soon!

Tapped in for Muscle Mami challenge days 5 & 7 today - we are on a family vacation so I doubled up knowing we’d be very busy the next couple of days.

My husband joined me in the hotel gym so I wanted to share 🥰🥰🥰 him joining my workouts / supporting my journey is a huge love language for me. I feel grateful to have moved our bodies together. I know that 20-30 mins we spent is gonna have us feeling our best for a big day of plans tomorrow - thank you Ruth for the quick yet fulfilling & fun workouts!

Hope everyone has a great weekend!

Hi hamstrings !!!! 👋🏽 took a few reps / making sure I had my spine & upper body in the right position to turn them on (calves wanted to take over), but they arrived 😂

Toes curled under vs pressing into balls of feet during split squats made the lower body alignment/stability feel different, nice to notice both and have options. Very fun!

This was fun! These layered ab moves have me 🙂‍↔️🙈 at first every time lol, the static hold of leg + steady pelvis + rotating spine crescendos with the deep abs ON, as it’s supposed to, but feels a little overwhelming / almost like a puzzle at first as I think my brain is figuring out which neurons to fire in real time lol. That also happens to be what keeps me coming back for more. 🙂‍↕️🧩 I love witnessing my body move more efficiently with each new set.

Thank you, Ruth!

Big fan of “biiig stretch” ! I did it before bed, and woke up feeling so refreshed. Happy Friday Luna, I hope you had a nice week!!

Reporting back after making my little girl dinner and it was a hella good combo.

Wanted to share the easy bbq sauce recipe in case anyone else is a fan of slathering their protein in it. 🤠 It’s from my fav holistic chef, Laura Lea:

1/4 cup maple

1/4 cup ketchup

2 tablespoons vinegar (I used apple cider vinegar)

4 teaspoons soy sauce

1 tablespoon molasses (optional)

2 tablespoons Dijon mustard

1/4 tsp garlic powder

1/4 tsp chili powder

1/4 tsp paprika

1/8 tsp salt

1/8 tsp pepper

Whisk it all together until smooth. Heat on low and let it reduce a bit to thicken. Makes about 1 cup of sauce. Soooooo freaking good.
