Oh also recs on where to start - I’m a weekly schedule gal to mitigate decision fatigue, but I gave myself a goal of 2 classes per week when starting for easy wins, even if only for 5 mins.

I also love the filters for specific body care, the foot care class is 🧑‍🍳 💋 🤌🏽 never knew how much I needed it, makes the rest of my body feel so good from the ground up!

Hey Victoria! Wanted to chime in here as well. TL:DR I’ve lost 20+ lbs over the past 2 years, and RPS has been a very supportive part of my journey, but patience , caloric deficit + stress/sleep management was essential to lose body fat sustainably while continuing to build muscle / strength.

For me the biggest benefit of RPS was enjoying movement and becoming consistent again without setbacks from pain/injury. When I started almost 3 years ago, I was recovering from copper toxicity (IUD) and many hormonal issues as a result that always had me inflamed, tired, weak, difficult mental health issues, and gained 30 lbs within 2 months despite no major lifestyle changes. I was super active before all of that for my whole life, and had never experienced immobility / gaining substantial body fat before.

Total recovery took about 5 years, by the time I found RPS I was 2 years into my healing journey. Low impact movement that supported my nervous system and helped me love my body and what it could do, trickled into all other aspects of my fat loss journey. IMO the hardest part is patience if you’re playing the long / sustainable game. Finding a sustainable balance / caloric deficit through nutrition & exercise, that fits my lifestyle, took a sec to figure out. Things are now dialed in without much thought, I’ve lost 10-15 lbs per year — a more rigid plan could lead to quicker results, but gentleness and not hating the process was important for me lol, along with continuing to build strength & muscle to support my active lifestyle. I rock climb, walk my dog for miles each day, hike, & lift weights in addition to Pilates. And as mentioned, stress management + sleep are an essential foundation to support all of this, life happens so important to honor the process & not be hard on yourself.

Everyone is unique but in my experience, a positive movement experience only leads to more movement, awareness, & self love. RPS is fantastic at providing that gateway & support to build upon !! 💗💗💗

Watered my plants today for the first time in forever 😅 I have some extended time off work rn and it’s been soooo nice to just be in my home space chilling and doing chores lol. My sweet husband’s been doing the bulk of the housework the past 1.5 yrs since my career was so demanding, and he usually takes care of all the living things.

Today I realized we have 10 houseplants! Nice to get back in touch with them. And Ned loves this one, he came over to hang out with it, her name is Brianna and she’s usually up high … anyone else name their plants? I have a “B” theme going for whatever reason. I named another Beatriz. 💁🏽‍♀️
