Oooo such an insightful observation. And if it’s helpful to hear, strengthening at our starting/mid range (rather than end range) is a great way to build more power because our muscles are able to produce maximum force when they are not in their fully lengthened state. Strengthening this range with heavy loads also works our Type II / fast twitch muscle fibers—critical for hypertrophy and frequently underutilized in daily life! You’re doing awesome work. 🥰

Donkey kicks have a brand new pelvic sensation for me during pregnancy. At first the sensation around my pubic bone is so strong that it makes me wonder if I should continue. But instead I widened my bottom knee, reduced the range of motion and focused a little deeper. With each rep, that sensation began to melt away. It was a pretty powerful experience I just wanted to share at 31 weeks pregnant. We did that bad b muscle mamis!!!! 🦋
