Feel free to play with the different grip options you have with the beam (behind head across shoulders, one hand holding center, both hands holding, beam resting on inner elbows with elbows high) just a few options! You can absolutely make it work. If you run into a move where you aren’t sure how to hold it just ask in my DMs, the community of in the class comments and I’m happy to help!

Kind of a “spidey fingers” hand position!

Absolutely fine to angle your wrists or move your hands further forward! There’s a suprising amount of shoulder mobility required for this, on top of holding our own body weight it can be really intense. At some point in the class I know I popped my wrist up for more comfort which may work for you too. Attaching a pic of that if it’s helpful!
