So relaxing. Slowing things down and stretching at this pace is so healthy for the mind and body. Often when warming up the body and stretching its done so quickly and in a rough way. It's so nice to have the space to think in these movements and pay attention to the body. Thinking about relaxing the muscles as well as working them is also so beneficial. Thank you! I was fighting with my obsessive thoughts just before this class and the band helped me at least try to resist and release them. I easily lock onto these thought patterns and can't seem to let go of them. I WILL resist and bring myself to a calmer state! This class felt so awkwardly satisfying, a calm in the storm.
