Tapping in for 11 min Arms + Abs and the Triptych pressing on! When I saw this Triptych at the Munch art gallery in Oslo I thought ah I need to do a Triptych class again! A bit like this class, painful at the start - the 'war and peace' - classical followed by the 'human mountain' - weights, more suffering πŸ˜‚ and then the 'rainbow' - the sensulates! I'm feeling the rainbow feeling at the moment after realizing yesterday during a moment of clarity while watching a documentary that I am dyslexic. Everything makes sense in my life now. I've been searching for the answer for so long. Why my brain hurts so much every time I try to communicate! Why oh why did I do a PhD?! πŸ˜‚ No more suffering now, only rainbows! 🌈

Tapping in for the Sunday walk! Just walking back from the theatre. I set up my first screening for the film club here. It was The seeds of Vandana Shiva. Great documentary! She's an Indian environmental activist and definitely NOT a demagogue (learnt a new word! πŸ˜‚) and NO to BT cotton and monocropping! I loved learning about the seed banks (over 100) in India. I only knew of one in Svalbard.

Tapping in for upper body glide from my travels in Oslo. The Vigeland park is just incredible. Sculptures say so much! I feel extra happy when I can take RPS with me wherever I go. I was just walking through streets, listening to a podcast that was basically everything Ruth says through RPS with Dr Stacy Sims.

Tapping in for yin yang hips before my trip to Oslo. I must remember to take a elastic with me for this week's class. I felt a surprising positive release in this class, and I felt very intentional with doing this class in the middle of the day to take a break from my work. I think this helped coming in with a positive mindset.

Tapping in for AAA! I got a little sick after my hiking adventure, hardly surprising after overexerting myself in the cold. Took the weekend to recover and do nothing and happy to be back today taking it easy with a shake class! The abs part was particularly challenging for me! Glad I got off my A and did this!

I am so pleased I did it and conquered my fears of camping alone up on a mountain! I've just returned from a 3 day hike in Lapland Sweden. I got lost day one, day two made it to the highest mountain station in Sweden (LΓ₯kta). It was very luxurious and cozy, I had a sauna and dried my wet shoes. I met lots of nice Swedes and had some real in depth conversations over dinner, day three returned to semi- civilization! 35km and around 2000m elevation gain. Haven't done anything like that before. I listened to myself and left northern Norway for this adventure after stressing about my final PhD exam preparations. I spent so much time alone walking up in the mountains but not once did I feel alone. When I felt myself rushing I checked in with myself and told myself to slow down and take in the present moment. I felt like I was just surviving up there. Such a good feeling to challenge myself and think about what matters. I love nature πŸ¦‹

On the theme "slow is fast" I decided to take a trip away to Swedish Lapland. I took a ferry, two buses and a train to a lovely place called Abisko. Taking my time planning a hike in the mountains and figuring out if I want to camp in the wild or not! Such a good reset, if I'm not too cold I shall try a class at my next camping spot!

Some nice soundscapes: https://nlindt.com/abisko-project/

I spontaneously decided to cycle to a mountain and hike up it in probably the worst conditions! Rain and fog and hail on the top (1100 m) I'm grateful for the map on my Garmin otherwise I probably wouldn't have found my way off the mountain in the fog! I actually turned back early and didn't climb the last 100 m or so because I couldn't see anything! My hands were freezing because I didn't take waterproof gloves so was squeezing the water out the whole time! I didn't see anyone, it was quite exhilarating. I sat on a rock drinking a can of coke in the fog feeling a mix of feelings of regret and accomplishment!

Tapping in! Watching Arctic race of Norway in my RPS hoodie. Spotted lonely me on TV. Finally famous πŸ˜‚ I've been feeling v. demotivated lately, also emotionally tapped out, but getting back into it very soon.
