Pressing play on Day 2 of the Thaw Experiment. I’ve been sick for almost a week and today I finally have a bit more energy so I’m dipping my toes in the warm movement bath. I look forward to stepping back into Muscle Mami when my body is ready for it 💖 I’m grateful that we have so many choices that allow us to meet our bodies where they are.

Hello lovely beings!

1st question - any video recs that are supportive for achy legs? I have varicose & spider veins and when I'm approaching my period or on my feet a lot my legs hurt and my feet swell. Putting them up a wall definitively helps! 

2nd - anyone use compression socks/sleeves that are more comfortable to wear in warmer weather?

Hi Ruth! Question about the streaks on calendar - Do walk days count towards it? I was so excited to see I was on day 26, but then today I saw it said day 1 and I’m like what happened here? 😩

I got a 15 day streak today! This is a big deal because the past few months I was feeling really low, stressed, anxious and maintaining structures that nourished me felt very difficult. I started a Reiki Level 1 course, and something shifted. Today marks day 16/21 of my post attunement self-practice. I have never meditated for more than 10 minutes at a time or daily. To sit with myself for 30+ minutes is a BIG DEAL. My stressors have not changed, but what felt difficult to do, became a bit easier when I met myself with presence and compassion. I started a practice of writing down all the ways I show up for myself in a day. I’ve been connecting to 5 year old me and she asked for stickers. The goal is not - how many stickers can I get today?! Rather its a visual reminder for me to see that even on days when I feel extremely low and fatigued, I’m still showing up for myself. I’m learning that self discipline can be rooted in joy, love, and compassion. I’ve never been more excited to make my bed y’all! 🤣 & now when I DON’T make my bed, I’m not making up stories about it, I look at all the other ways I showed up. Sharing this in case it is helpful for anyone wading through fog right now. Sending big love 💕

Hey Ruth! This is a technical question. So on desktop I notice that I can't add videos to a playlist or see my favorites. When I click on my account tab on my phone the options for playlist, favorites, and notes come up, but I don't see it on desktop. Am I missing something? Thank you so much for your support!

Hey Ruth! Two questions:

First, do you currently have any videos breaking down a body roll? (The GIF is me) 

Second, would love any tips for modifying movements that put more pressure on the sacrum (like full teaser).
