Ruth calls this class Power Abs. I call it 5 minute ab torture. It’s perfect for when you don’t have a lot of time but you still want to work yourself hard for the 5 minutes you do have.

I didn’t realize how tight my hips were until I did this class. I was so tight I was barely (if even) touching my blocks during those lunge stretches, but it still felt heavenly. Hip Bath is definitely the perfect title for. My hips feel like they’ve been bathed in oil (kind of like the Tin Man from Wizard of Oz), and my legs are feeling a bit like jello after those last few split and pigeon stretches, but in the best way.

One of my favorite classes because you can do it anywhere and it instantly makes you feel better!

Never underestimate the power of a good jiggle sesh! I forgot how much I loved this beat based class. It’s my first time doing it since RPS switched to the new platform and I’ll definitely be adding it to my Favorite Beat Based playlist. It’s also one you can do just about anywhere as it’s completely standing and requires no props, plus it’s under 20 minutes! What’s not to love?!

I really needed this meditation. I lost a close friend who was also my mentor last week, and it’s been difficult imagining life without him in it. I related to so much of what Ruth said because I thrive on routine and when everything steady and regular in my life gets thrown out of whack, it can really mess me up. The idea of our bodies needing change was new to me, but it makes so much sense. I know that in death comes new life, so in imagining my flower, it was blooming out of death and loss. My mentor planted a seed in me and my flower will be living out his legacy and planting seeds of my own. 🌸💕

Yes, I was going to say Catharsis would be a great theme for me right now

Such a great class! Loved the messaging of taking of space and making no apologies for who we are in our authentic selves. I used 12 lb hand weights and found them to be just right (and a 5lb one for the arm part at the beginning.) Definitely dripping with sweat by the end of it (and my arms had trouble staying out and taking up space because they were so fatigued.) Will definitely come back to this one when I want to do heavy weights.

Wow, I really needed this class after this week. I was carrying so much tension and heaviness in my chest and it all melted away by the end. I’d never tried that breathing technique before and I really liked it. Will return to this class on days when I need a mental release.

Truly so grateful for this class. It’s been getting me through some tough times.

Sorry to hear about your bad boss. That sucks. I’d recommend the new Wind Down class for sure! Breath and Be is another good one that is more meditation and mindfulness focused.
