I love a class where I can keep my head down since I tend to strain my neck on ab excercises. 99% sure my abs will be feeling this tomorrow!

“I am worthy.” Really needed to hear that today. I didn’t have energy or time for much more than this meditation and it was perfect. My “next step” is to be comfortable asserting myself and saying “no” when I know I don’t have the capacity to do something (I’m a people pleaser and trying to start putting myself first sometimes.)

One of my favorite classes to do at the office. It packs a punch in just 13 minutes and your booty will be burning by the end.

I love discovering Ruth’s “OG” classes for the first time. I’m surprised I’ve never done this one before! It definitely kicked my butt. It moved fast and left my a sweaty mess, but I’ll be doing this one again for sure. It’s a great class to do at the office, especially if you have filing cabinets you can use for support when you start to lose balance. My calves were really burning on those releves! This class was my favorite kind of Ruth torture and it doesn’t even require a mat or props!

I love a short and sweet weights circuit, and if I can do it lying down, even better! But despite the short length and ability to rest my head, pretty much every time I do this class, my arms will be sore the next day.

I really did need “an edible in movement form” tonight and this class was perfect at gently stretching me and making me feel good and relaxed and chill. My stomach has been feeling off all day, so on “Snooze” I just lay on my back and did gentle rolling bridges up and down with occasional pulses and knee twists and it worked great. Like Ruth always says, “When in doubt, freestyle it out,” and this is a great class to just freestyle stretch and get into a flow state with the moves. I close my eyes and just let it ride.

I hadn’t done this class in awhile, but I used to love doing it as a quick class when I need a break from sitting at my desk all day. I returned to it today and I’m so glad I did. I usually use a rolled up piece of clothing in place of the ball (and just keep my heals lifted without a ball in the first move) and it works great. It’s like I’m there in Jamaica working out with Ruth on her balcony.

These stretches were exactly what I needed today. My quads/thighs were sore and tight from the classes I did earlier this week and these stretches felt so juicy and good! Will definitely return to this one when I need a good deep stretch to get out some nice pops and cracks.

Ruth Brenza saying “you chose violence” is an understatement. You went full nuclear on this one. 😂 So Madison Wagner while I’ll say that those abs exercises probably do get easier with practice, I’ve been doing Pilates for over 12 years and I barely made it through without having to take a bunch of breaks, and I looked a hell of a lot less graceful than Ruth did doing them.

This is one of the most challenging RPS classes I’ve taken on the new app. I used 12 lb weights for legs and abs and 5lb for arms. Those ab exercises were KILLER. I found the one where we “tossed” the heavy weight between our two hands to be the “easiest” and the circles with one leg up and one three inches off the floor to be absolute insanity. So if you were challenged in this class, especially during the abs, please know you are not alone. I’ve been doing Pilates for over 12 years and I could barely get through three of those circle reps before I had to pause and take a break and start over. Will definitely go back to this one when I need a real challenge.
