Hey Kayla! Gotcha. I think I lowered to my elbows in order to feel a deeper stretch in my quad. Since the focus here is stretching your thigh and hip, I wouldn’t worry about getting your elbows down unless you’d like to achieve it just for flexibility goals! You could prop your elbows on blocks in the meantime. A lot of this position is actually coming from flexibility in my lower back where I’m a bit hyper mobile. Working on deep lower back stretches like Swan and working your way up to Rocking should help 🥰🦋
