Okay right before this class I spent about an hour and a half panicking that Frida had gotten out last night. We checked her usual hiding spots, shook her treats and found nothing. I had this pit in my stomach that she wasn’t in the apartment. I was sobbing, went to staples to print fliers and put up 25 signs, talked to four neighbors and managed to set off my car alarm. Something made Kyle open a random cabinet by my bathroom and there she was!!! The relief was as unbelievable but I had all this fight or flight still coursing through my system. Sympsthetic nervous system fully engaged. Damn was this class hard but exactly what I needed. I grunted. I pushed myself harder and it felt great. I did 4 rounds, 15lbs on upper body, 55lbs on hip thrusts (two weights combined! Bala bar works nice for this), and 30lbs for first round of step ups and 25lbs for the last three. Wow what a gift. So proud of you all who made it this far!!! Look at us go 🦋
