My new apartment is finally starting to feel like home. I’ve been craving movement since settling in has become easier. Got a little loot to rebuild my home gym from Marshall’s today. Told myself if I can carry all these heavy emotions from such a tragic event, I can carry anything especially heavy weights. 💪🏽💃🏽Commuting to daily movement going forward. Whatever that means to move my body. Can’t wait to jump back into these classes now! 🥹😌💪🏽💃🏽✨

My in-laws where here the past week and I had to go to my friends house to be with her dog for a bit while she was out of town.. So I have fallen way behind on the challenge. I walked so much last week though, so I'm not too upset about it!! Tapping in for day 3 (this morning) and day 5 (this evening). I loved this program the first time I completed it, so I'm gonna catch back up with y'all and finish strong🥹

Came back to the hard and soft challenge this morning after taking the weekend off. I came to my mat on Saturday and my body was craving rest. So I took it. Slept 10 hours both days this weekend and did a whole lot of nothing and I feel great today. Last time I did this challenge I stuck to the schedule so rigidly because I was afraid if I missed a day I wouldn’t come back. But this time I was able to pause with the confidence that it didn’t mean giving up. Honestly this is such a win for me as this has always been my biggest hurdle with exercise. With several chronic health conditions sometimes I just need a break, and it used to be so hard to take those without just giving up. RPS has truly helped me retrain my brain - actively choosing rest when it’s needed is productive too! And I feel better for it 🦋💜

I decided to do an extra class instead of a run today. There's so much rain and hail here! And I caught up with yesterday's weights class. It was good to dance off the weights class after! Highly recommend this one!

Bandit and I posing with our new RPS gear. I jumped 10x and although boobs bounced I did not get slapped in the face nor did they come out of my shirt. I don’t normally wear tubes but man is this comfy. Time to go twerk to some conejo malo 🤪🤪

I recently started my first job out of grad school as a couple’s therapist (lol at Ruth’s insta bio being “your therapist’s favorite Pilates instructor”…it’s true). This has been such a long time coming and I’m so grateful and excited to do this work. RPS is one of the major tools I use to prevent burnout and take care of myself so I can show up for others ✨🌸💕
