I am a competent bad b! Two weeks until my PhD exam. My brain will not rest! These classes save me! I have somehow overloaded my hips lately so just removed the weights for the single standing leg parts! I had an imaginary weight and that felt enough! I am so focused right now that no feelings came up for me, apart from the comforting thought that my weight will always be 8kg, and I was left wondering whether that was 15 pounds! The rows felt good on my weak left shoulder, and I thought about how much my body has healed and got stronger over the last 1.5 years thanks to RPS.

I also have tension in my jaw! I even have a little jaw muscle knot on the left. I wonder if this is connected to my twisted pelvis and general tightness in my left hip! 😂

Definitely good for my nervous system! I've been pacing around with anxiety and this really grounded me. I enjoyed the ambient music and slow controlled movement, I was really focused on each lift.

I was going to say this felt like a shake then realised it was! I liked that i challenged myself with the weights and also had an emotional release! I am full of anxious energy right now! Ths class definitely got some of that out! I also liked the contemporary dance feel to the flow and the balancing and the freestyle!

This class reminds my hip flexors that they used to be strong! Lifting the foot over the block is one of my favourites. I like the "no hands" exercises too! Feeling very satisfied!

So nice to do this class after a sauna! I embraced the awkwardness of my movement at the start and felt the flow by the end. And I practiced a yoga style headstand at the end, I've been doing them a lot lately and feeling clear in my head afterwards.

It's incredible how much work this class is! My shoulders feel so much stronger and revitalized, I love the combined stretch and strength moves. Essentially what the theme is this week! Such thoughtful movement as always!

Very very juicy! I love the asymmetrical moves! My travel props today were: a full toilet paper roll instead of a block that got squashed so then I substituted it for a saucepan. And my weight was quite a large ripe mango so I had to be loose on the grip 🤣

I felt a positive release in this class. It felt more like a shake class towards the end, but a good feeling. My hips have always felt so delicate and weak because of all of the tension there, and this class offered a feeling of gentleness combined with empowerment.

Such a nice study break class! Really fely good in my upper back and neck. These moves give you the opportunity to stretch where it's really needed! And to breathe! Working at a desk I forget to breathe!
