Got through this today with 7 lb weights for all exercises. I did squats with 7 lb weights!! Unreal. So proud. Feeling so strong. Physically and mentally - I never would have thought that was even possible, but today I thought I’d try 👀🥳

I had to take a week off from the challenge because I was traveling for work last week (and they keep us soooo busy!) but I’m so excited to be back!! I used to struggle coming back from breaks but my body was craving this today and it felt amazing! Mostly used my 7 lb weights for this class other than the ab work I used 3lbs. Replaced the kettle bell swings with some other movements because those always make my elbows feel iffy, and I just did static planks during the side plank sections. But I was amazed I could actually hold the plank the entire time!! Planks used to be so hard for me and dare I say they actually felt easy? (At least in the beginning, I was shaking by the end 🤣)

Made this one my own today. We’re iced in here in Dallas so we walked in to my partners office this morning - maintaining my balance even with my snow boots / ice grips was a challenge for my knee, so my lower body was tapped out for the day. I still wanted to show up for the upper body portions of today’s class, so I adapted. Did the first move with 7 lbs, took time to stretch out my legs and massage my knees during move two, did move three from the ground with only the upper body portions at 7 lbs. feeling like a win win because my knees feel better after stretching (which I probably wouldn’t have done otherwise) and I still got a nice upper body workout 😊🦋💜 stay warm everyone! ❄️

Real talk I was in the zone and totally forgot to count how many rounds I did 🙈 I’m like 80% sure I did 3 full rounds + a fourth round of everything but the step ups…. But don’t quote me 😅 regardless, this one was tough! I used 7lb weights for the arm work and my 25lb Bala beam for the hip thrusts which both felt pretty good. The step ups were a doozy for me though - did those with no extra weight and plenty of support from my door frame 😅 proud I got through them though!

Used my 25lb bala beam for the first time today for the first and last moves!! 🥳 dropped to 3lbs for the middle moves but still felt the burn. Loving this challenge so much 🥰💜🦋

This is maybe my new favorite class?? Amazing what we can pile in 20 minutes. I was tired starting this class and did the wall squats with no weight. But as I went I got more energy and moved up to 5, then 7 lbs. did both rounds of the split squats holding a 3 and 7 lb weight?? Unbelievable, who even am I 😂 weights are so empowering for me, thank you Ruth for making them so fun and accessible 🥰🦋💜

Quick and powerful, my favorite types of classes! I used a 5 lb weight for the arm work. Went light (3lb) for the deadlift because it felt better today, but swapped to a 7lb for a row portions. Will be back to this one for sure!

Feeling rough today and had zero motivation for this. But I did it. Balance/focus was all over the place so I ditched the weights entirely on the squats and just used ankle weights for the hamstring move. It was messy and imperfect, I still feel bleh, but I’m proud I showed up - that itself is a win 🙂💜🦋
