Seriously. I remember looking over to check the time and it was around the 8 minute mark, and I couldn’t believe I still had 4 whole minutes to go haha 😅

Ooooo baby the abs and hammies are burning! Anyone else still dealing with a sore butt and quad’s from yesterday’s class too? On those single leg bridges by the end my butt was only maybe an inch off the ground, but I made it. Those leg lift abs at the end were no joke. Gonna be feeling this (plus the lingering soreness from yesterday’s class) tomorrow I’m sure! 🔥🍑🥵💪

I was able to do 6 sets of each with two 12 lb hand weights. I’m a sweaty mess and my heart rate is up to 140, but feeling great! 💪🏻💪🏻

I love this class so much. Instant mood boost every single time. Sometimes I just do the first three or four songs and sometimes I do the whole thing, but I always feel 10 times better afterwards.

This was my first weights class of the new year (and my first one since recovering from a cold), and it was the perfect way to ease myself back into weight training and prep for the Muscle Mami challenge coming up. I used 5lbs for the light weights and a 12lb for my heavy weight since that’s the heaviest I had. I found those weights to be the perfect amount for me since I still find myself getting out of breath easily since being sick. I enjoyed the flow of this class and look forward to doing it again with heavier weights in the future.

I usually call Ruth’s shorter classes, “movement snacks” but I’d call this one a “movement dessert” or maybe “movement hot chocolate.” I’ve been fighting off a cold since returning from a trip to Mexico and haven’t had the energy to move my body much beyond the “classes you can take from bed” section of the app. But this class looked short and doable, and I’m so glad I pressed play. My body is grateful.

I love doing this class anytime I’m not feeling well or when I’m too tired to do much else. II’ve done it from my bed at least three times (including today.) Drinking a hot matcha right now and feeling so cozy.

After a day of swimming in the ocean and walking along the beach in Ixtapa, Mexico, this was the perfect stretch to help me end my day. This is also one of my favorite classes to do at the end of a long work day.

I’ve been having foot cramps lately so I decided to do this class to give my feet a good stretch. Trying to get just your fifth and fourth toes down in that first exercise is super difficult but I tried my best. My feet and ankles are feeling the love after this one.
