The beat based class that started it all! This class helped me recover and come back to my full self after transitioning back to office life post pandemic. I love going back to this one, especially when I’ve had a rough day. It’s an instant mood booster every time. Plus it’s easy to do at the office or anywhere (but you will get sweaty.) It’s the perfect blend of cardio, sensulates and feel good movement. And you can do the whole class in under 20 minutes (if you skip the intro in the beginning.) One I’ll continue to go back to for years to come.

I’m still repeating in my head, “the world needs more of you and not less of you.” Thank you for this meditation. I needed to show my self some compassion today and this was how I was able to do it. Carrying little Emily in my heart and holding her close. 🫶

Holy moley! Abs are on 🔥. I was looking for a quick abs class and saw this one was head down, so figured it would be a nice break for my neck. Bad b’s be warned that just because your head is down does not mean your abs are going to have it easy on this one. Maybe one minute into the class I thought to myself, “hmm this isn’t too had, maybe I could have picked a harder class,” but one minute later I was dying. Those cork screws at the end were a great final burn. Will definitely be returning to this one when I don’t want to strain my neck but do want to work my abs hard!

This was my first Pulse level class in about a week and it was just the challenge I needed. For anyone who had trouble/ pain in the wrists doing the moves on the blocks near the beginning of class where we had to push our bodies up and then straighten the knees and fold forward, grip your heavy weights instead. I wasn’t able to push myself as high off the ground but I was able to do a lot more reps that way than I could on the blocks because of my wrists. I used 12 lb handweights for this and that was definitely a challenge during the splits arm press part, but I feel amazing now.

It’s been a rough few days here in LA and the stress has been wearing on me. This was just the class I needed to decompress and focus on my breath and loving myself. I’m a bad b!

One of my favorite go to beat based classes after a long day of work. Still trying to get my shuffle to look as cool as Ruth’s, but I always have fun doing it. I didn’t know any of the songs before this class and now I love and sing along with them all. Definitely challenges the balance at times and you will get sweaty, but you’ll have a blast doing it!

It figures Ruth would make an extra ruthless beat based class to celebrate her birthday. 😂 The sweat was dripping so much my hair was drenched by the end of this class. Will I do this beat based class again? Maybe if I want my butt kicked! Happy Birthday to the baddest and most ruthless b out there!! 🥳💪🏻😅💦
