Holy shit! 7 rounds + 5 chest presses using 15lb weights (I did both arms at the same time). I was confused during the first AMRAP, cycled between 10, 15, & 20lb weights thinking we were trying to intentionally push to failure (rather than measuring progress with the same weights) and got 4 sets in. So overall, this was a big jump forward! I have to walk my dog now and I will be skipping in celebration !! 🎉
Sweating, glasses fogged. Notable moments:
-I am luteal !! Felt so weak 2 days ago but this data has debunked that! What a nice fact to hold onto.
-I never placed my weights down. My grip fatigued sooner than my muscles during this sesh but I kept pushing.
-15 lbs may have been too light? as I could have kept going after the timer stopped.
-My movements were more fluid than the first time. I got into a flow state. Nervous system remained stable.
-My endurance was 🔥. Kept breathing, kept going.
-My stance was wider, squat lower, and hips felt stronger during sumo squats 💘 that was my hardest exercise last time, I love to see progress happening there.
Ruth, the gains are strong !!! 💪🏽 fuck me up with that focus on hypertrophy !! congrats bad b’s, let’s keep going !! And, shoutout to the chicken sausage hot dog (a specific craving) 🌭 and boiled eggs 🥚 I ate before this to power me up 😂😂
